The Inn at Folkston is a deluxe Bed and Breakfast located in Folkston, Georgia, providing a refuge of total luxury and relaxation.
Situated in southeast Georgia, Folkston is known as the Gateway to the Okefenokee and home to the famous Marvin W. "Cookie" Williams Train Viewing Platform at the Folkston Funnel.
The Inn has four upscale guest rooms, all on the main floor, with private baths, feather beds, and many fine amenities. There are rooms to fit different needs, two Deluxe rooms both with King Beds, a comfortable Queen bedroom, and a Family room with two beds that sleeps up to four. The Folkston Funnel Room is designed to ADA specs for handicap access, and is helpful for anyone needing mobility assistance. One writer described The Inn's English Garden Room as "more akin to staying in a suite at a fine hotel than at a bed and breakfast." Arrington's Inn Traveler awarded The Inn at Folkston "Best Interior Design and Decor" in 2003.
Owner Innkeepers Janis Richtmyer and Bill Whitaker have operated this award winning bed and breakfast for the past four years. During that time, they have established a reputation for outstanding service and hospitality. Many guests return regularly to enjoy stimulating conversations with their hosts and the other guests, to relax with a complimentary beverage, and to linger over one of The Inn's home-cooked breakfasts.
